Scorpio vs Libra Virgo Relationship Potential

A Powerful, passionate and intense combination. Both like dictating justice however since neither will want to be on the receiving end this may prove problematic. If too much resentment builds up it could turn ugly and neither would be likely to leave until the situation had escalated beyond all reason. Both may want to dominate and not be possessed and no one wants to be the receiver.

The upside of course will be great sex. An agreement about shortcomings of others, the proper way to proceed in any situation and a propensity for making cash. So starting a business together to have a joint outlet for your passions may work.

Basically, alot of fun and not necessarily the best connection.

Personality Profile, Leo with Pisces Rising and Moon in Piseces

I met an interesting woman today. I was struck by the glory of the combination of apparently disparate things. I saw in her a really, really, really rich hippie. And that's something I never expected to see. She had this new age, flowing, spiritual wonder about her and at the same time I was nearly blinded by the bling on her watch. She was onstage and had a great presence, connected well with the audience and obviously has a brilliant mind. I was intrigued.

And so in conversation with her after her performance, astrology came up. Due to the new age side of her, she knew her chart well and let me know she is a Leo with moon and rising in Pisces. I've got a fair bit of experience with fire-water combinations. And I've got to say she seemed to be the best integrated I've met to date. I'm going to attribute that to her dedication to serving her life purpose.

So basically the love of flashy, sparkling, center stage glory of Leo has been tempered by the connecting, soulful, flowing glory of Pisces. And she carries it well. I could feel the integration of opposites in her. A fascinating person, both in her honoring her Leo desire to be in the spotlight and in using the spotlight to serve a Piscean dream. I just wouldnt want to piss her off.

International Astrology Day

International Astrology Day is celebrated on the first day of spring. Astrology is the oldest representation of western culture through a symbolic system. The first day of spring is also the beginning of the astrological calendar and as such can be considered the Astrological New Year.

This day is also celebrated in many other cultures. Iranians celebrate their new year, it is the beginning of the Baha'i faith's calendar and it is a public holiday in Japan, Vernal Equinox Day.

Happy Astrological New Year!

Welcome to Aries - Happy Astrological New Year!

Happy Astrological New Year! Today brings the Spring Equinox and we welcome the start of Aries, the first sign of the zodiac.

Aries are feeling a bit challenged at the moment with Venus in retrograde in Pisces. The water influence of Pisces, douses Aries fire to a degree causing some chaos and giving impulsive Aries an opportunity to take a break and regroup. With all the flaming balls you are juggling this may not be easy. The wisdom you will gain will make it worth it.

For the rest of the signs, welcome to the impulsive, aggressive, instigating, get 'er done time that is Aries. In Aries we celebrate the strengths of childhood - creativity, ingenuity, persistence and boundless energy. And have the chance to avoid the pitfalls or at least learn from them. Aries is always a wild and crazy ride. Learn to enjoy it!

Characteristics of Sagittarius - Its Sagittarius Season

This is going to be a bit more free form than my usual blogs. This is running more off of recent experience than professional knowledge. Its Sagittarius season, no not their time of year, just Sagittarius season. I find that new people I meet tend to come in groups by sign. Last month there were Geminis everywhere I turned. Now the season has changed and it Sag time. So let's discuss Characteristics of Sagittarius as evidenced by recent example.

Characteristics of Sagittarius - Freedom Loving
Sagittarius is fun. They like fun, they like fun people and they know how to get fun done. They like the freedom to have their fun where they find it. Its an interesting transition from the freedom of Sagittarius to the restriction of Capricorn. Often when people discover a new side of themselves they over do it. Maybe its also that way in this transition. Sagittarius is so wide and free roaming that the next evolution is extremely fixed and immovable.

Characteristics of Sagittarius - Knowledge Loving
Whether it is a search for the origins of the universe, a love of history, a desire to learn about themselves or a curiosity for learning about a new person, Sagittarius loves new knowledge. They are the constant mental adventurers of the zodiac.

Characteristics of Sagittarius - The Charmer
The aforementioned love of knowledge makes Sagittarius the perfect conversationalist. They always have something to talk about. Attentive, fun and interested they are able to easily win people over and have a natural talent for the social graces. A Sagittarius can make you feel like the most special person in the world. And you are. Until they are talking to the next most special person in the world, which leads to....

Characteristics of Sagittarius - Inconsistent
Whether it's that they say they are going to call or they make plans to get together or things a bit more serious, Sagittarius can leave a bit to be desired. One just disappeared never to be seen or heard from again. However, the other Sags of the season had a frighteningly consistent tendency among them to be inconsistent. From dropping off the radar and resurfacing without thinking anything of it, to indignant text messages wondering where I've gone when they haven't been responding for a week... the Sags seem not to have noticed their joint propensity for not doing what they say they are going to do.

Astrology - The Life Cycle of the Signs

Astrology - Signs as Ages in Life Cycle

Astrological Signs can be associated with different stages in the human life cycle. Starting with Aries and moving in order thru to Pisces, each sign represents a progressive age in human development.

Aries - The Child

As the first sign in the zodiac, Aries starts off the cycle of human life with childhood. Aries personifies the child from age 0-7. Inquisitive, learning, brilliant, loving, impatient, persistent, clear about what they want and confused about why they shouldn't have it. An Aries expects what they want with all the certainty of a child who has just spotted the golden arches and knows french fries are right over there. There's no good reason for a no. Aries and children know this.

Virgo - Middle Age

Virgo represents the beginning of middle age. We move from the happy go lucky ways of our youth into the deliberated choices of middle age. We become aware of our mortality and this leads to a more discerning thought process. Virgo focuses on giving as we begin to realize at this age that what you give is far more important than what you get. Personifying the transition from 42-49, Virgo brings more consideration and planning to prepare for further aging.

Pisces - The Transition to Death

Pisces as the last sign in the zodiac represents old age. A go with the flow attitude in recognition that life has a way of moving on typifies this sign. A connection with the spiritual, less from a dogma standpoint and more from a preparing oneself for death is also indicative of Pisces. They love, they care, they feel and they want you to feel with them. Pisces is a loving connecting sign. As we move toward death we realize love is really all that matters and Pisces brings this to the forefront.

Pisces 101 - Basic Astrology

Every Astrology sign has its upside and drawbacks. Let's investigate Pisces.

Pisces - Positive Traits

As the third water sign, Pisces lives in the flow and will flow with an person, experience or challenge that comes along. They run on faith, whether mystical or religious, believing is what Pisces do best. This belief combined with their emotional connection gives them a sense of easy connection that allows them to be very compassionate and caring. Pisces are intuitive, agreeable, captivating and engaging making them the perfect companion.

Pisces - Challenging Traits

The downside of all this companionable glory is that in their desire to please Pisces can utterly lose themselves. This same motivation will lead them to lie with reckless abandon. They want to go along with whatever you want or need and so will look you dead in the eye and agree to whatever you ask. Some Pisces will then blissfully ignore their commitment to you once no longer in your presence. Others will avoid you so as not to make any commitments. Bottom line Pisces has no backbone and suffers the consequences. Sometimes when they become overburdened by their inability to say no, they lash out with vicious maliciousness and you get to pay the price too.
